In 2009, Mendez became a wardrobe assistant for Beyoncé’s Who Run The World video, I Am Tour, and multiple music videos and photoshoots; later, he was officially appointed as the wardrobe’s gatekeeper to one of the world’s most iconic international superstars. Years later, in 2011, he became Beyoncé’s personal assistant.

As an archivist, Manuel gathers, documents, and relocates valuable items to achieve museum-quality conservation.
